many churches are participating in the fair trade movement of eternal threads. eternal threads is an organization that brings hope & justice to the women & children of poor & developing countries. they buy large quantities of products, handmade by the women of India, Madagascar, Nepal, Thailand, & Afghanistan, and sell them here in the states and across the world. through this organization, these women have the money they need to survive, educate themselves & their families, and potentially lower their risk of being trafficked.
