Derek Henderson : New Zealand Memories

i first spotted this Derek Henderson video over at the ANTHROPOLOGIST.  the description from the anthropologist is so beautifully written that i want to share it with you here.  please dont hesitate to take a few moments & enjoy this beautiful look into nature..

"As a child, there is something fabled about your family's stories of their youth. For photographer Derek Henderson, those epic tales always took place along the banks of the Waikato River in central New Zealand. In this short, serene film, Henderson physically and figuratively dives into the same waters his mother swam decades ago.

_One trip along this remote riverside, and we, like children, are struck with awe."

happy weekend! take advantage of the beauty of the nature around you..
